QuickBooks provides the framework for holding information about your customers, the jobs that you are currently working on, tracks Estimates (Schedule of Values), Progress Invoices (current Accounts Receivable and work complete), and a means to accurately record and track Retainage Payable and/or Retainage Receivable.  CAPS provides the framework for holding additional project information, Architect information, retainage methods, and billing forms to print in linked records; and provides a mechanism for percentage of completion calculations and accounting for stored materials.  The information is then merged together from both programs to generate the final billings - ready for signature, notarization, and mailing.
