forms that are required by the City of Kansas City, MO; along with the Daily Labor Report and Employee List.
Changes to Support Policy due to an ever growing customer base, we have had to modify our
Support Policy. These modifications focus on actual "Technical Support"
versus QuickBooks training, allowing us to focus on software enhancements! We offer numerous
Free QuickBooks Training Resources on our website

QuickBooks for Contractors) and our manuals. Those desiring additional one-in-one training may purchase it
in 1, 2, and 3-hour blocks of time.
Slight Pricing Increase due to the ever rising costs of postage and gas, we have slightly increased the prices of
the software on CD with printed manuals that are shipped either Priority or Express Mail.

Certified Payroll Solution Version 5.0.221 begins shipping today with new features/enhancements, forms,
and QuickBooks 2007 compatibility. New features include an "enhanced backup & restore module" that
allows you to automatically create a "zipped" backup of your CPS data every time you close the program, calendars have
been added to help you more accurately input dates, Michigan DOT and Oregon DOT EEOC Reports have been added.
Construction Application for Payment Solution Version 5.0.131 begins shipping today with new features/enhancements,
forms and QuickBooks 2007 compatibility. New features include an "enhanced backup & restore module"
that allows you to automatically create a "zipped" backup of your CAPS data every time you close the program, calendars
have been added to help you more accurately input dates, two new variations of the plain paper G-702/G-703 have been added -
using Subcontractor/GC/Architect and Subcontractor/GC/Engineer, additionally an Invoice and Statement plain paper format
have been included (see the CAPS Demo Page for full-sized samples).

for QuickBooks Solutions Marketplace listings. Gold Developer Status provides QuickBooks users the assurance of
quality, compatibility, and additional product/company reviews when considering solutions that integrate with
QuickBooks.
In order to achieve QuickBooks Gold Developer status, our products had to pass a formal QuickBooks Technical
Review Process by an independent third party certification laboratory. The QuickBooks Technical Review Process
ensures that applications meet a high quality standard of operations and compatibility that is expected by customers,
while verifying appropriate integration, data exchange, security and error handling. Additionally another
independent third party performed a "customer satisfaction survey" with our existing customer base. To

Certified Payroll Solution (CPS) Version 5.0.207. CPS Version 5.0.207 begins shipping today with
new features, enhancements, and the new WH-347 Form (which was released by the Federal Government on 5/4/06).
In addition to the new WH-347, CPS now allows you to print mailing labels for your reports, set Employee and Job Defaults,
prints "No Work" EEOC Reports, and numerous other enhancements.
If you are a current CPS user you may obtain this update free of charge as part of your Annual Maintenance, by
starting CPS, select the Help Menu, choose About - note your current version number and click the Login to
Support Area button. Updates are listed on the lower left of this initial page along with detailed
enhancement listings and download instructions.
New Flash Demonstrations will be available as they are finished - it takes roughly 4-6 hours to complete each one.

Construction Application for Payment Solution (CAPS) Version 5.0.118. CAPS Version 5.0.118
was released with new features and enhancements. All Contract Documents have been digitally
signed to provide less problems with various anti-virus software, the Schedule of Values in the
Contract Document Manager has been enhanced to place the entries in a table, the alignment process
of the original AIA forms has been enhanced - you can now adjust each individual field, round lines 4-8
on the G-702, add running totals and page totals to the bottom of the G-703, subtotals and/or page breaks
may be added after line items of your choosing on the G-703, set company defaults for retainage and forms to
print, plus other enhancements.
If you are a current CAPS user you may obtain this update free of charge as part of your Annual Maintenance, by
starting CAPS, select the Help Menu, choose About - note your current version number and click the Login to
Support Area button. Updates are listed on the lower left of this initial page along with detailed
enhancement listings and download instructions.

Certified Payroll Solution includes two new state specific EEOC Reports for the City of
Hartford, CT and the Illinois Department of Transportation, the Rhode Island version is currently being
beta tested and is receiving favorable reviews, and a new Massachusetts certified payroll report for the
Division of Capital Asset Management is also in beta status and being tested.
Construction Application for Payment Solution now includes the ability to create a negative and/or
credit application, perform negative adjustments to compensate for rounding errors that sometimes occur,
and the Contract Document Manager can now complete AIA original G706, G706A, G-707 and G707A forms that you
purchase and load into your printer.

Initial launch of Wage Manager;
as a stand alone payroll wage management tool designed to help payroll administrators when there is a company
wide pay rate increase, there is a need to create new payroll items that will be used for multiple employees,
or it becomes necessary to remove obsolete payroll items from multiple employee records. A single complementary license
for Wage Manager is included with each purchase of Certified Payroll Solution, and may be accessed from within the
CPS program.
In addition to the release of Wage Manager Solution we have revamped the entire site and included
additional technical documentation and resources to the On-Line Support Page.
January 25, 2005
Sunburst Software Solutions, Inc. today announced that the final development process of their
newest product Wage Manager Solution is in the final stages of Beta testing, with a proposed
final release date of February 16, 2005. Wage Manager Solution will share data with Intuit's
QuickBooks® software products - including QuickBooks® Pro and Premier editions, as well as
Enterprise Solutions; and is build using Microsoft® technology. Read More . . .

Certified Payroll Solution Enhancement Update
This enhancement covers a few of
our most often asked for requests: during initial setup, clicking cancel at any time will save all entries made to that point,
drop down lists are now displayed in alphabetical order, includes seconds in determining decimal percent of hours
worked, work classification screen now has an alphabetic drop down list for displaying EEOC Codes. Additionally
an enhancement for those who are behind in issuing reports who have always used the "canned" Hourly Rate Payroll item -
a new Work Classification option that defaults back the Work Classification assigned in the CPS Employee Linked
Record, this will help automate the creation of delinquent reports but still cannot handle split work classifications.
Wage Manager was released in Beta to all existing CPS customers, and all initial feedback has been positive.
2004
December 20, 2004:
Initial Release of Contract Document Manager; which moves the creation of the contract
documents from its dependency on the QuickBooks® Write Letters function directly to Construction Application for
Payment Solution. This move allows for greater functionality in the generation of contract documents as it
can now pull data from both CAPS and QuickBooks®.
November 15, 2004:
Compatibility update for both CPS and CAPS to work with QuickBooks® Pro/Premier
2005 and Enterprise Solution version 5.0 are available to existing users and is ready to ship to new customers. Other
minor functionality was also included with the compatibility updates.

Major Program Enhancements Released.
Certified Payroll Solution now has the ability to create an electronic Certified Payroll Report that is
compatible with the Labor Compliance Management system developed by TRS Consultants, Inc.,
which is currently being used by several school districts in California as well as the Wisconsin
Department of Transportation. Enhanced Union/Bona fide plan reporting options; through the use of the
new Design-Your-Own Report Benefit Reporting option - using this enhanced option you can create Union or plan
specific benefit reports. New EEOC reports added.
Construction Application for Payment now supports printing on both versions of the AIA G-702 (one version
has bigger red lettering than the other), as well as support for printing on the AIA G-702 CMa version. Because
these are AIA original documents that you purchase and feed into your printer, you will first need to do a printer
alignment to ensure that they align correctly.

Certified payroll reports generated by Certified Payroll Solution are being submitted weekly in the state of Connecticut.
Research and development for all other states is on-going in order to make this program produce not only the
US Department of Labor WH-347 Certified Payroll Report, but to allow user's to generate their own state's
mandated report if it has it's own specialized reporting requirements that have been derived from the Federal reporting
mandates.
August, 2000:
A four year search has ended for not only a method to retrieve information from
QuickBooks® through the use of the DataBlox, Inc. OfficeQ Pro product, but for someone to write the code
for a certified payroll reporting add-on product. Sunburst Software Solutions, Inc.
is founded in Somers, MT by Nancy Hoffman and Ben Smyth and development of Certified Payroll
Solution begins using live weekly payroll data from Connecticut for testing purposes.
