1. Can I use Wage Manager to work with payroll item types of Additions,
Deductions, and Company Contributions in addition to Wage Items?
Unfortunately not at this time. We use the Intuit QuickBooks® Software Development Kit (SDK) to create our
products, and Intuit has not yet opened up all areas of the QuickBooks® program for developer's to work with.
It is our goal to include this additional functionality as soon as SDK functionality permits. You can
help us achieve this goal faster my submitting the following request to Intuit. To submit this request, in
QuickBooks®, go to the Help Menu, choose Help & Support, look for Submit a Suggestion, select the
Customer Service & Sales option, and type (or copy and paste) the following in the suggestion box.
Allow 3rd party developers to have read only access to ALL information that is contained in the Employee
Records, as well as read-write access to all payroll item types that can be created in the Payroll Item List.

2. I've downloaded your "try before you buy" version, and I can't write the
wages back to QuickBooks®. Why is that?
We've created the "try before you buy" version so that you can download the software and see how easy it is to use.
But like any "try before you buy" version, we have put limitations on it's use. In order to write back
to QuickBooks® you will need to purchase a license.

3. When creating a new payroll wage item using Wage Manager, how can I be
assured that it will be assigned to the correct account on my Chart of Accounts?
When creating a new payroll wage item there is a drop down Account Selection box, which allows YOU to
select which account on your Chart of Accounts the Payroll item is linked to. Because you have full
control of this selection, you are assured that the payroll item will be linked correctly.

4. I can't seem to locate the manual, how do I learn to use this program?
Wage Manager does not have a printed manual; all help documentation is accessed directly from each screen by
clicking on the red question mark at the lower right corner of your screen.

5. Can I use Wage Manager if I'm setting up a new company file and there are no
existing payroll items in the employee records?
Yes, Wage Manager is also ideal for this situation. You will, however, still have to go in and add your other
payroll item types to each record individually.
