QuickBooks Training

As a contractor or bookkeeper new to QuickBooks, finding information on how to setup your new QuickBooks program to use in your commercial construction business can be a daunting task. The QuickBooks manual, In-Program Help, and the QuickBooks Learning Center all seem to focus on setting up QuickBooks for the homebuilder or residential contractor - - which can leave you feeling rather confused.

The items in this section are free excerpts from the "QuickBooks for Contractors - Mastering QuickBooks for Commercial Contractors" book, currently being written by Nancy Smyth, Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor and President of Sunburst Software Solutions, Inc.

By standardizing such information, MasterFormat facilitates communication among architects, specifiers, contractors and suppliers, which help them meet building owners' requirements, timelines, and budgets.
