This section contains a detailed list of common QuickBooks error messages that can be encountered when using our products or any QuickBooks integrated application that has been developed using the QuickBooks Software Development Kit (SDK). Some have solutions that you can try that are documented here. Some are rare and will probably never occur, but if they are known; they are documented. If there is no given solution that does not mean there is no solution for the problem, but we do need your assistance in documenting the error for our programs so that we can get our hands around it and devise a solution. If necessary we have the means to forward the error to Intuit for their assistance in resolving the problem.

  • Resolving QuickBooks Connection Errors  ( 2 items )

    There are a number of issues that can occur when ANY third party application attempts to connect to QuickBooks. The QuickBooks Error Description usually contains helpful information and sometimes they may be vague at best.

    These errors usually occur when the third party application initially connects to QuickBooks and basically says; "Hi, my name is application X, and I'd like to work with this QuickBooks data file. Cover the basics first, double-checking the most simple things first.
