Certified Payroll Solution System Setup Errors

These are common error messages that you could encounter on the System Setup -> System Preferences -> Settings OR Data Locations tab.

Renumber all employees?

If you have changed the option to auto number employees on the Settings tab, it will ask you if it can go through and renumber all the employees.  Employee numbers are only used in certain states; consult your manual for details.

Invalid QuickBooks file.

The QuickBooks file name must be valid and exist in the location specified.

Data Path may not have the following characters: & \ ? . * |

A path or file name MAY NOT contain the above characters.

QuickBooks filename may not have the following characters:  & \ ? . * |

A path or file name MAY NOT contain the above characters.
