Networking AIA 1 Month, 2 Weeks ago

Hi
I originally set up AIA on a client computer, then moved the DATA folder to the root
Directory of a Mapped Drive.
I created a test job and billing (using the same item- different discriptions within a group)
Then went to print the AIA Invoice on plain paper
And came up with
Run-time error '1004'
S:\\Data\SSStemp1.xls could not be found. Check the spelling of the file name and verify that the file name has not been renamed.
I'm not sure if this error refers to a file I failed to transfer
(I only moved the DATA file) or if it is a set-up error.
Any ideas?
Thanks

Hi Linda
It sounds like when you moved the CAPS data to the network, you didn't tell CAPS that you did.
Go to the CAPS System Setup menu and choose Data Locations - the first field here is the location or address of where the CAPS data lives.
In a standard single computer installation that data path would be C:\Program Files\CAP and inside of that CAP folder there is another folder called Data - CAPS knows and expects this.
Here you would use the Browse for Data folder button and browse to that shared folder on the network, remembering to "point to" the folder name that contains the folder called Data and not directly to the folder named Data itself.
