These issues are due to limitations within the Intuit QuickBooks Software Development Kit (SDK) and the QuickBooks program itself. It is a common misconception that the CAPS data is backed up when you backup your QuickBooks data - this is not true. We have updated Construction Application for Payment Solution to work with Window Vista. Our testing and debugging process has basically gone well, with a few exceptions which require special instructions for running CAPS on a Vista machine.
