Architect(s) Error Messages in Construction Application for Payment Solution

Below are common error messages that you could encounter when working with the Architect database, through either the Edit menu -> Architects, or from the Job window -> Edit Architects button.

 Architects are being rewritten.  Please log on later.

The file is currently in use by another user.  This conflict is avoided if you wait until they are finished.

Corrupt record in Architects File.  Record ignored.

This error will only occur if you are running CAPS in a multi-user environment and have not updated all the computers to the same version of CAPS.   It simply means, that the machine currently accessing the CAPS data folder is an older version of the program, than was last used to access the data folder.  Cancel out.  In CAPS, go to the Help Menu, and choose Check for Updates, check to see what version you are running; repeat this on the other computers that have CAPS installed, and update ALL CAPS installations to the same version by clicking the Login to Support Area button, download the latest update, and install it on each computer.

Important Note: Both of these errors can occur if you have experienced a sudden computer crash, while the program has been working.
